Event Details and Design Photography
I love to take photos that showcase all the details at an event. I also love scavenger hunts. How do these go hand in hand? Easily! Finding and photographing all the different details a client has created for their event creates the ultimate kind of scavenger hunt for me.
I like to find out what my client has designed and then set off to discover its significance to the scene. Sometimes these details are obvious and stand out. They are things like: floral designs on the tables, the layout of the room, signage, decor… Sometimes they are not so obvious and blend into the design so seamlessly you don’t even notice it was something that was planned for. These are normally the little things like the pattern of a table cloth, hidden lighting, types of beverage served, restroom signs… It’s fun to look for everything! Next time you are at an event, take notice of the not-so-obvious details and just realize that those details were also thought about, and decided on.
