Minnesota's Best Of the Event Industry
Every year Minnesota’s Meetings + Events Magazine poles the community for their choices of the ‘Best-Of’ in a variety of event catagories. I’ve never been a fan of what I call ‘popularity contest’ awards, but M+E Magazine does a decent job of picking out the companies for each catagory. I’m not sure how they narrow each catagories selection, but I’ve been in the Minnesota event industry for 20 years and the names I see listed, are all fantastic companies that I’ve had the joy to work with.
Coppersmith Photography has had it’s name listed as a nominee for the past handful of years. Althougth I am beginning to feel like the Susan Lucci of this award show (look it up if you don’t know the Susan Lucci reference), I am truely honored to even have my company listed in the Best Photographer catagory! We work hard here at the studio and it’s nice to be recognized for that work!
This past spring, I reached out to M+E to see if they needed any photographs of their event, and they responded with a ‘Yes!’. It was really fun to photograph this award show! It was held at the Lumber Exchange in downtown Minneapolis. Multiple vendors sponsored the event, and many clients and friends showed up. It was a great night, and I look forward to next year’s Best Of party! We are again on the ballot!!!
