Expertise 2016 Best Photographers

We love getting awards! It makes us feel like we made the right choice when were asked as kids, ‘What do you want to be when you grow up?’

Coppersmith Photography was just named one of the top 21 Best Wedding Photographers in Minnesota by Expertise.com.  They did their homework before handing out this award too!  They analyzed and scored each business across 25 criteria to provide a hand-picked list of the best.  21 out of hundreds of wedding photographers were chosen, and we are one of them. Yippie!!!

What did they use to figure out who was picked you ask? Their criteria shows they look for:

What we like best about this award is that we didn’t even try for it.  You will often see ‘Best Of’ and ‘Vote for Us’ style contests all year round.  Those have their place, and can be fun to take part in. But most of the time they end up being a popularity contest.  Small business and single person business owners just can’t compete with companies who have multiple vendors in the same category. It’s like playing a scavenger hunt, where one team has 30 people on it, and the other only has one.  The odds are not going to be leaning toward the single player.

So, we say ‘Thank you!’ to the men and women who took the time to scavenge around and find the best of the best through research and determination.  We are honored!
